Trench warfare became the most significant identifier of World War I is was this form of atritian which identified the War for years to follow and resulted in Stalemate on the Western Front.
An example of the aircraft in World War I, origionally these aircrafts were used to montior enemy movements, it was not until later they were used in combat.
Tanks were used in World War I and concequensly it was thier introduction into the combat which ended the stalemate, however the controls of which were poor and the art of directing these machines was not mastered until World War II.
Trench Warfare is iconic of World War I. Although trenches provided soldiers cover from the initial fire of the enemy, disease, health implications, and verden. Another health hazard of trench warfare was the ever impending implication of a gas attack.
Advancing Naval technology enabled a battle of the sea, and they were equipped with masses of artillery.
Arguably the most significant technological advancements in WWI warfare would have to be Gas Warfare, and the introduction of the Machine Gun.

Wilfred Owen;
Dulce ET Decorum Est is a poem written By Wilfred Owen during World War I, and was published after his death in 1920. The title is an extract taken from he ancient Roman poet Horace who states, 'it is sweet and honorable to die for one’s country.' Owens poem is known for its horrific imagery and condemnation of war.
Owens poetry serves as a reflection as he too served on the battle front, and he uses his poetry to contradict those who praise the notion of war and ignore the horrific reality of the concept.
Wilfred Owens poetic collections have been used in Higher School testing’s as studies texts and stimulus and are still seen as a primary account in a poetic form.
